Luther Burbank's 150th Birthday Celebration.
Genuine ostrich egg shell with Luther Burbank's picture
displayed on the piece of shell that was cut from the opening.
Hinged shell doors reveal the plant wizard.  The base was sculpted
from clay and kiln fired.  All the Shasta daisies were cut from computer
paper and layered to give a 3d appearance.
Miniature asparagus (Luther's favorite food) was created from Femo clay.
A bird on her nest sits on top of the rose trellis (built from balsa wood).
